Introduction

Hi guys, my name is DragonNestEX and I base in Holywood as a Gladiator named DarkNeoEX but I occasionally play in Westwood as well under an Acrobat/Tempest called AcroNeoEX helping out DRAGONZ. So this is my first guide and so I hope you can forgive me if I do a crappy job in this.

Nest Introduction

Minotaur Nest is the only LVL 24 Nest in the entire game and is also famous as the only nest with no hell mode and one of two nest with no solo mode.

Minotaur Nest Entry Page

Loots you can obtain:

  • Rough Alteums
  • Elf Queen's Corps Set Equipment (Epic)
  • Crafting Materials for the above mentioned equipment
  • LVL 24 and below Epic Grade accessories
  • LVL 24 Epic Heraldry Plates
  • Cow Strike Heraldry Plate
  • Partaclus Powder (Suffix Material)

  • Cow Strike!!!!

Recommended Party Format

  • Soloing is not really recommended for low level players, say below level 40 but if you truly want to do so for the achievement I would recommend having a minimum attack of 700, be it physical or magical attack.
  • If you are going in a party with a LVL 40 and above, do not interfere with him and let him do his job (more about it in the next section on boosting).
  • When in a party of low LVL players be sure to invite a cleric for the healing as this will be tougher than any low level abyss dungeon.

Boosting

Other players might consider helping you through the nest for a fee. These fees will range from:
  • Rare Grade Crafting Material (Minotaur Horn)
  • All Crafting Material
  • All Loots
From my experience, the first two types of boosters are the ones to go for. Why give them the materials? This is as you do not really need the Elf's Queen Corps Set. If you are boosting for experience, you just need magic grade equips only. You also could earn the money lost when you hit LVL 40 too.
If you find the third type of booster, do not go for them. The plates and accessories is one of the ways to jump start your earnings.

Since its just solo mode now screw that.

The Nest

The entire nest is divided in two stages: The entrance to an arena and the arena itself.

The first stage is fairly easy as there is only two sleeping Minotaurs, which will wake up if you approach them too close. You must defeat them in order to proceed to the second part.

The second stage is basically a mad rush to fight the boss!
There is a stage mechanic in the arena where mad bulls will charge out at you! Watch out for the system message and scan for them to avoid getting run over!

After a cutscene, Boss will summon a bunch of mobs scattered all over the place that will agro to you. After the beatup, he will summon his mobs in one straight line. For the third mob summon, he will summon them all the way to the north end of the arena.

Kill all three waves and he release his two large Minotaur henchman against you with two dark elves that will freeze your movements. Focus on the Minotaurs as the dark elves will simply respawn after being killed. After driving both the hp bar to x0, the big boss will get pissed off and enter the fight personally!

The boss has a flame element, which means most of its attack contains a burn status which would burn down your health if you are not careful. Charges by the boss must be avoided at all costs for low level characters. It also can throw flame axes at you which you can just move around in a circle around the boss to avoid. If you are hit immediately roll away as the boss will pin you down with the axes. When it swings down its huge ax, try to stand a bit to the side of the front of the boss to avoid the dark waves. When the boss reach to 0 health, congratulations!
